I am proud to be the Conservative candidate for Stoke-on-Trent South. As a true local – I was born here, I live here, I work here - I am passionate about regenerating Stoke-on-Trent and restoring its international reputation for excellence.

I am deeply concerned about the current challenges that we face as a community. Labour have proven themselves unwilling or unable both to rise to the challenge to regenerate our local economy and to raise the aspirations of our young people. Further BNP gains will blight the reputation of Stoke and may destroy the opportunity for regeneration.

I believe that I offer Stoke-on-Trent South the only credible opportunity to start the long and hard process of regeneration. As the MP for Stoke-on-Trent South, my key areas of focus will be:

• Listening to the needs of the whole community and be a champion for everybody

• Improving the education and skills of our young people

• Bringing new skilled job opportunities for the people of Stoke-on-Trent South

I have the passion, enthusiasm and experience to make a real difference to the prospects of Stoke-on-Trent South. I don’t just talk about it, I am hands on with local schools, local charities and the local business community. By working together we can make our City a vibrant and great place to live.
